Successful GT Cup, Ginetta and Radical team Amigo Motorsport, will enter the Carbon8 Hyundai Coupe Cup at Castle Combe next weekend (5th September), running the car of Dan Blake (Trowbridge), at his home circuit.
Amigo Motorsport top the GTA Class of the GT Cup, with the Ginetta G50 GT4 of team principal Rob Gaffney. Many of the team members from Amigo Motorsport have experience on the TOCA package, having been involved with the Ginetta GT Supercup and Renault Clio Cup with Rob.
It was Gaffney who gave Blake his first taste of senior motorsport, offering Blake a test in a Rotax Max kart in 2011 and putting in competitive times, impressed Gaffney with his speed.
2015 has seen Blake take pole position at Thruxton and claim two podiums.
Amigo Motorsport are running Dan Blake at Castle Combe as they look to evaluate more appearances.

“We have been looking to help Dan out for a while but now feel that this is the best time as we look to evaluate a program of a multi car team in next year's Coupe Cup series. we hope to use our experience through the Clio Cup and Ginetta Supercup to benefit both Dan and other potential drivers in the series in the coming future.
